Just pimpin' him a bit because I think he got shafted last year. He was unreal for us and even more so for Hartford in 2014.

        Choices, choices, choices.

It's so close it almost doesn't matter, but the IL New Brew should come from Los Alamos.

Toss up between Yonke and Boom-Boom.

Padgett and Parker should also get a look.

I thought Graves had a chance.

Then I looked at the list today.

I gave Graves a first. He was a key to you competing.

Both McCarley and Wright have been amazing. Either one is worthy of winning. This has been a special regular season for us with our stars playing like stars pitching and hitting.

Tony Romo got a vote, that poor guys arm is gonna fall of at some point

Don't have much to pimp on my side:

OF Dave Robinson hit 20 HR as a rookie, should probably get some votes for ROY (but Jimmy Lee should definitely win)

CL Pat Fink had an unbelievable season on a shitty team. 34 saves with a 0.82 WHIP is pretty darn impressive on any squad. He really didn't have much margin for error with our anemic offense. MR Edgar Fajardo also was as good as any reliever (66IP, 100K, 0.74 WHIP). The back-end of my bullpen was the bright-spot this year for this team.

I can't see Graves over Yonke. You mention helping his team compete but that argument, I personally feel, is more for an MVP type award. The New Brew, to me, is just that; a young player starting to make their mark on the league. Baseball is about numbers and Yonke's numbers are quite a bit better than Graves.

Now the argument between a pitcher and batter is a different story. Hard to compare.

To each their own. He was an impact rookie on a contending team. To me that is valuable.

I think Yonke deserves a vote ahead of Graves, but his offensive numbers aren't THAT much better than Graves. Some of that is just sample size since he did have almost 200 more AB.

They had similar production all things considered.

I had McCarley and Wright in my top 3. If I remember correctly it went Diewert/MCC/TW. Impossible not to have those two DVS studs on the ballot

In the Graves v. Yonke debate, I'll take Yonke.

I think both are good players, but it depends on how you build your team, and obviously which stats you're partial too. I'd like to see both players have equal playing time, but despite that, Yonke will get my vote over Graves.

It'll be interesting to see how these two progress.
