Israel Morales hits 3 HR in a game for the 2nd time this season. Philly had played 36 seasons prior to this year without a player ever achieving that feat, and now Morales has done it twice in the last few months. Amazing. #potw

Also, Pat Evans wins his 18th and 19th games of the season this week, pushing his career win total up to 100. We've only had three 20 game winners in our history, so he's poised to join that list that includes Joe Aurillo, Ben Irvin and Brendan Lindsey.

It felt like he had the same 5/5/5 ratings for 15 years.

I'm a bit surprised Doug Miles never made it to 20. I wish you had traded him to me way back when.

The Bats went 4-2 this week, and we are tied for the wildcard along with half of the IL. However, with 4 games in Philadelphia followed by 3 games in Death Valley, our hopes will be crushed when the next sim is run.

Yep, but he always "played up".

Remember in the old days when even a 4/5/5 SP was useful, and a 5/6/5 or 5/5/6 or 6/5/5 guy was a good #2?

I feel like now a 5/6/5 or 5/5/6 or 6/5/5 SP is instead a borderline rotation guy, depending on the individual pitcher and situation.

Eh, I don't think it would have mattered. He grew up in the wrong era.

SP Jamie Stidham (our 4th/5th/long man) had himself a SportsCenter game this week. Picked up the W in a CG effort over Baltimore while also going 3-4 at the plate with a 2B and a run scored. Needless to say, he picked up Player of the Game honors for his effort.

You're absolutely right, it's crazy how this game's changed over the years.
