However I do understand it might be a lot more work for the commishes. And that isn't nice at all

You'd have to use 7 day lineups.

That would be a good excuse to start to use them finally :)

Does it work by days of the week? Or matchday 1, 2, 3.....

Still doesn't work in this specific case because the player still has 2 days left on the DL as of Monday. He can't be removed from the DL until midweek.

Ah, gotcha. I thought he was eligible to come off, but still had a couple days of injured time left.

I would also like to give up. I'm done waiting for this time to shape up. I really thought we'd eventually turn it around, but it's not happening, so we'll continue our mediocrity through the remainder of the season. So, whoever had "2 years" for how long it would take me to run the Bats into the ground, congratulations.

To make matters worse, Dropkick got injured last sim, and is out for the rest of the season. Let's pray it isn't permanent.

The entire first half of the season we just meandered around, winning one losing one; lazily drifting from one side of the road to the other, but between the lines. A 17-9 July had us thinking we were for real and hitting our stride, but when it came time to really make our move we just pulled the e-brake and slid into the ditch. We'll give this thing another SIM or two to see if a tow truck comes along; if not we may just empty the gas can on the interior and set it on fire.

We are 25-16 since the calendar turned over to July. It's the type of performance I expected this season.

Too bad we spent the first three months injured and getting the shit kicked out of us.

I'm having most fun seeing my younger players develop. This team is going to be getting another influx of young talent next year. Dave Jackson is really starting to rake at AA and is still only 18. I hope he can play better defense with time though. Eric Johnson is also hitting the snot out of the ball in the same league.

The epic draft of 2014 is exciting for us too. Next year I'm looking at Fowler starting at C and Stoll starting at 1st. They were 3rd and 1st round picks respectively. Second round pick Hirasawa is tearing up AA my other second round pick Ekland is already in the BLB and is 5-3 with a 3.76 ERA.

                      Great First Draft

For my first draft 2014 was fabulous. A bunch of my hitters have been tearing up the minors...
Dave Wescott (56th pick) .317 at AA and ripping at .315 in AAA.
Robby Bean (104th pick) .305 at AA and .286 in AAA.
Garrett Finn (8th pick) .295 with 11 HR and 54 RBI at AA before getting injured.
Jayden Lyons (32nd pick) 2.27 with 18 saves at AA and just beginning at AAA.

This is where I need help...

Do I give these boys a taste of BLB action in September or do I leave them the entire year in AAA and start them fresh next year. I'm not sure about the effect on salary or arbitration. Since I am rebuilding anyways should I just keep them down??

Dave Graves is proof that you don't need guys to play at every minor level to be impactful at the BLB level. Sometimes you just gotta trust your scout and the kid's self confidence.

                            Bean

I'm not sure to trust my scout. He keeps insisting that Bean be in the BLB, but I'm still waiting. I guess a pennant race might make more of a difference.

If you don't want to compete, why the hurry to call the youngsters up? I waited and putted a team together for this year, and it pays dividends. I know is hard but as a half newbie in this fantastic league, keep waiting until all of them are ready and do the transition all together, it's a sweet taste :)

If they are ready, they are ready. Outside of that , you want to consider they will be arbitration eligible sooner.
