        Killing 0-3 against Pittsburgh...

Damn it 2 games away of the divisional leader and 1 game ahead of Hartford for the WC spot... Things are tight my friend, really tight right now.

              Hey, Brad.

How do you feel about Bafford not getting hurt?

Thanks Brad! I finally gave up running the SIM when I couldn't access the site and took a nap. Six hours later I woke up.

Meanwhile Batavia has won 9 in a row...and gained a measly 2 games on Morgantown.

We don't discuss this topic. I'll have to hold you responsible should anything happen to him now.

We treat him and Morales as 70% starters. It's one of the reasons we pushed for Oldham. We try to rotate those guys put so they don't start too many games in a row. Wish we had the DH to help too.

I made trades with two Stout clubs earlier this season.

One of those agreements contained a clause that I must mention Bafford's health a minimum of four times before the completion of the 2015 regular season.

The boys go 5-1 in the first half of a crucial divisional week, including a 3 game sweep of the Stout leading, Wildcats. Coupled with Wilmington losing 2 of 3 against Washington, we are now just five back of the lead.

Quietly, Mr. Kahng is having a MONSTER season since coming to Baltimore. Putting this team on his back, the South Korean native threw a 12K, 1 HA, 0 BB, complete game GEM versus Wilmington and his FOURTH complete game this season. I'm pretty bummed that I didn't resign him at the reasonable price he offered earlier in the season.

So far this season we've survived on underrated pitching and timely hitting from young, homegrown Bulldogs like:

Malik Roberson (OF): Voted 3rd for IL ROY in 2014 and a guy who just seems to make big timely plays whenever and wherever we need him to.

Dave Hallock (IF): A 23 year old rookie who has TWO walk off home runs this year and another guy who can play pretty much any position on the field.

Walt Nichol (CF): A 3rd year player who was one initially a Bulldog prospect, traded away to New York in 2012 but moved back this year and proven himself as THE premier defensive center fielder in the BLB.

Dave Graves (IF): The 22 year old, former Clemson star who played less than a year in the Bulldogs' minor league system before being called up this year and making a strong case for the 2015 IL ROY Award.

Once you add in the play of vets like Kahng, Caplan, and "Shoeless -I was robbed of the 2014 Last Call By My Own Teammate" Evers, this is easily one of the more enjoyable seasons, regardless of the end of season outcome. It is one of those "transitional" seasons, but we are gutting it out for some good performances and at least putting some type of pressure on the Wildcats.

Plus, we'll be getting two big pieces back in the next couple of weeks with Tamieke and Mendoza coming off the DL and out of rehab. Very encouraging to be where we are with two months to go.

6-1, with Ron Burton tossing a no-no against Denver in the second game of a three game set. Missed a Perfect-O by one walk.
