Interestingly enough Annapolis first baseman, Tom Meara (AAA), has hit a grand slam at every (recorded) level.

He also is from Lodi, CA, a city I drive through everyday on the way to work.

And since he just resigned with Pitt, I probably should take this old pic of Todd Taylor off my avatar.

Jimmy Gray (IND) is the only Top 20 Hitter under the age of 29.

I'm not sure I've seen something like that before.

            Old guys are balling.

I just saw Combs is the #1 pitcher! I've never had a #1 player before. Must be all that money he's about to get on our .500 team.

I haven't looked around yet but are there just fewer young guys (hitters) with great ratings now?

                Maybe.

Eyeballing the OSA top prospects list...

Only 2 guys with 7 power.

Only 2 guys with 7 contact.

Only an additional 5 guys with 6 contact.

This is why I don't think the drafts are as bad as guys want to make it out to be.

That's the new norm in OOTP 15 and soon those guys will be playing against similar competition. They only look bad against all of the 7 contact guys playing from previous versions.

I think I've heard this before.

It almost like....you said this when we first switched to 15.

Yeah. It went ignored. Don't mind me. I'll just keep collecting 4 and 5 contact hitters and build my system.

Last years draft was phenomenal. This year was kinda back to par. I agree though with Carlos...the guys who are 5-5-6-5-5 will be studs in the league when the old guard start to hang up their gloves.

Arsenault 2 IP 0 ERA as a setup in AAA. He will be ready for 2016, maybe for Weiss or Valenzuela?
