Seems like there are a few lower rated guys (according to my scout) that are consistently doing well. Particularly McCarley (sp?) for DVS that my scout pretty much hates (hyperbole but he says he's average at best by ratings).

I hope this is the new trend.

Tried to get him in the offseason. Liked what I saw statistically and defensively. Couldnt land him but got Dowling instead.

McCarley should be better defensively - he doesn't have range, but he also doesn't commit errors and we are #1 in runs scored, batting average, OBP, runs against, starter and pen ERA, and defensive efficiency. We'll be coming back to Earth a bit because of injuries, but we are pretty balanced and he's our co-offensive MVP so far with Wright.
