2015 Regular Season SIM 11 Complete - Next SIM Mon 02/08
Was on vacation for a week sorry for being so quiet. Thanks Brad for working all of that out!
6-0 sim for Wilmington. 3 game division lead. Road sweep of Denver then sweeping Dallas at home.
Amyot takes player of the week. He hasn't quite reached the potential Tom thought he had when he drafted him 7th overall in 2010, but hopefully this is a nice confidence boost.
Still 6 more weeks until The Professor comes back. Tommy Bartholomew tore his labrum (again) in AAA so that hurts. Modern technology makes me think that you always bounce back stronger after the second torn labrum no? Either way he's done for the season. Give him the offseason to try to get back to 100 percent.
Our owner is delighted. Fan Loyalty is still below average but Fan Interest is climbing. It's gonna take more than a few good weeks to get the fans back in the seats, but hopefully we can prove ourselves to them.
We're working through some injuries and posted a 4-2 week. Don't like losing that series to PAW, but can't complain with 50 wins and a talented minor league system. Dave Porter has settled in and Jon Arnholt has locked into that #6 spot. Joey Leger looks like he may stick, however DJ Philips doesn't make the cut. I'm not sure what's up with Erik Gill and Jimmy Morosco - with Zack Wallace returning and some other young pen arms in AAA I could trade both if a contender needs a setup man or a 5th starter swing MR.
Some of my personal favorite prospects are moving up. JD Harper moved to 3B and Tom Ragosta moves to 2B at AA Jackson Hole. Erik Jackson takes over SS and Robby McGowan starts in LF at AAA Reno. Future potential slugger Ian McCallister begins his journey starting in RF at A.

I'm enjoying the journey of Guides relief pitcher Johnny "Skip" King.
Here's his story.
* Undrafted in 2008 out of college at Rice, where he had a 5.28 ERA.
* Signed a minor league contract with Maine for the 2009 season.
* Started 23 games for single-A Gettysburg in 2009, posting a 3.26 ERA and making the All-Star team.
* Promoted to double-A Bar Harbor, where he became the closer. Ugly year with a 7.24 ERA.
* Rebounded in 2011 with a 2.97 ERA at Bar Harbor, earning a promotion to triple-A Portsmouth for 2012.
* Pitching in relief in Portsmouth in 2012, threw a 1.47 ERA at age 25.
* Earns the closer's job in Portsmouth for 2013. Responds with a 1.42 ERA, 38 saves, a selection to the All-Star game, and finishes 3rd in voting for the Outstanding Pitcher Award. Makes his BLB debut, throwing one inning in September.
* Appears in five games for Maine in 2014, while pitching most of the season at Portsmouth.
* Currently in Maine with a 0.93 ERA in just under 10 innings at the BLB level this season.

After a 0-5 week, will be some changes in the line up and some turkey heads out there. Kline headed to AAA. Back to the 5 SPs formula. Ryu called up to help in 3B and against Righty pitchers.
Salazar better wake up if he doesn't want to get back to AAA when McLamore returns.
Gamboa traded.
No jokes in Dallas anymore, time to be serious.
Fortunately we're back Home where we're really though

Relying just at home won't get it done (See Pawtucket in the 90s). Nice to see the Lager being tough finally. Will someone please wake Jimmy up? There's at least 2-3 deals that would set this team straight .
Wow, overall lots of parity out there. I still think Pawtucket gets its 3rd division in a row. So happy to see Jimmy Lee shine.
