    Danny Gonzalez's player card says:

05/22/2015 Misses 35 games, reason: Suspended pending federal trial

    There's a new one.

California is very happy with all of next year's picks. Especially since we are garbage this year.

Ron Osborn beats Maine in his big league debut which is encouraging. Micah Poppino strikes out 11- he was in a throw in for my trade with Toronto when I moved back in the draft. Small sample size but I'm encouraged. Offense can still do better but with Monty in CF (and not Cavazos), they are scoring more runs.

Oh Poppino should be a good one in NY. I liked him more than Pelicano.

I was worried about him throwing too many practice pitches in Baltimore. And even if he doesn't make it as a starter, he should be a damn good reliever.

          Good to see him succeed.

Managed a 4-2 week so hopefully it's a sign of things to come.
Have a 3-game set against Chicago who always plays us tough. They are my Huckleberry.

                Here We Go Again!

                Another Great Week in California...

Three straight shutouts to begin the week, followed by only two runs in our other two losses. The Lone bright was Colin Robbins throwing 8 strong innings in a 7-0 win over Death Valley.

Another .500 sim for the cats but more importantly we took 2 of 3 from division rival Philly and have a half game lead in the division. Don't know how long it's gonna last but God damn if we're not enjoying this success

Give Laurie time. It's not unusual for players to lose interest when leaving such a storied, winning, franchise like Morgantown.

It's like that time, that guy got traded by the Washington Generals.

This Danny Gonzalez situation is interesting because I can't DL him. So he's now taking a spot on my AAA club.

If he had no options, I would have to either release him or play 24 guys for a month.

This doesn't seem like the way it actually works in real life.

He's an abject disaster defensively and merely human outside of the friendly confines, but he puts on a show in Baltimore.
