Another week of terrible hitting in California. Two seven games losing streaks already! Yikes! If this keeps up, California will be open for business...

Keep your eye on 25 year old Morgantown southpaw Moondog Baisden.

He made five starts so far this year.

He has yet to allow a run.

31 2/3 scoreless innings and counting.

Should be a good test for us.

Prospect Watch:
Myrtle Beach Shorebirds Closer Jimmy Carnes (101st overall, 2014 draft) hasn't allowed a run in 9 games (9 innings) and has 7 saves while giving up just 2 hits. We missed out on some of the other late inning arms last year and decided to pull the trigger on Carnes in round 5. Were going to keep a close eye on him to see how he progresses.
