Morgantown goes 2-4 after getting swept by the Tobs and only recording 1 run in the series.

Management is starting to wonder where Feliciano's power has gone.
After being a constant 40-HR threat for nearly a decade, his power numbers plummeted in 2014 and the trend continues two weeks into the 2015 season.

Someone get him in contact with A-Rod's supplier!!

3-3 sim, lost the series to Pitt but took 2/3 from Toronto (bullpen blew one of the games against Toronto). Offense hasn't gotten it going yet too- we won't be a complete joke this year fortunately.

As mentioned, it was a 6-0 week in Washington, bringing us to 10-2 to start the season.

        Some highlights:

Dave "Pizza" Lippert came one out away from throwing a no-hitter against California, before Ernie Arbini took him deep with 2 outs in the ninth. He celebrated the next day by signing an extension that will keep him in Washington for 4 more years. Previously, he'd indicated that he would test free agency, so as soon as he opened up for negotiations, I jumped at the chance. Glad to have him signed up.

CF Jamie Urmson has gotten off to a hot start to carry the offense. He had a breakthrough last year, and is now #19 on the Top Players list.

Willie Castellanos has won both of his starts in Washington, with a 16:1 strikeout to walk ratio and only giving up 2 runs.

BLB #1 prospect Ed Carroll made his AAA debut, and looks ready for that level. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does there - even if I have no plan to call him up anytime soon.

2nd year infielder Sammy Thomas has 5 errors at third base so far this season. He had 12 (at 3B) all of last year.

Your position is not guaranteed, kid.

Pat Cinelli is playing lights up in his firsts 2 starts in AAA, the kid should be ready to crack into the Show after the Draft if he grows one more point in control or movement, LF Salazar is playing very good as well, he might will have a spot with the roster expansion, we're really close to be a pretender again :)

Nice early season litmus test vs. the Bats this upcoming week.

                Arbini

You know your team has had a dismal week when they have an Ernie Arbini Bobble Head night to commemorate the fact that we were almost, but not quite, no-hit.
