Excellent sim. 6-0 on the field, and Lippert signed his extension. Good start to the year in Washington.

Emergency SP Jamie Stidham threw a complete game shutout when expected SP Ian Brooks couldn't go in Sunday's game due to an "allergic reaction". (There's certainly more to that story, I'm sure). Not sure I've had such an unexpected SP performance in some time.

            This sim sucked for us.

We managed to add Manny Reyes (to play RF) via free agency and from waivers, Tom Bell (CAR), B.J. Hinkle (WIL), and Ian Barbour (BAL). Hope the depth helps.

Worst hitting team in the league and losing Hector G for a month doesn't help.

4-2. I'll take it with this squad.

The Mendoza injury hurts as I don't have any lefties to pull from.

Also, rookie infielder Dave Graves is making a case for why he should be starting.

One guy already benefiting from the new roster sizes at single-A.

Maine's single-A affiliate in Barre, VT added a 19 year old catcher named Dave Weiss as the third-string guy at the position.

The plan is to give him one start a week.

In his opening week start, he went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI.

3-3. Swept PHI and then swept by WAS when the pen imploded. Bobby Montoya joins the club as our backup C.

We no longer have multiple pitches with ERAs above 32 so we're trending in the right direction.

Perhaps a few seasons from now, we'll refer to the 30-man roster change as the Dave Weiss Rule.

2-4 week for the Sharks with the youngers and the veterans struggling, well at least we took the series against LA, we were killed 0-3 by Denver though

Seth Burkett gets player of the week, hitting a HR in 4 straight games. He could have done that for your team if you sent in an offer.
