        Clean Round

This is just a thought. What about not being able to trade first round picks. It is a little closer to the MLB model and wouldn't allow for some teams to load up on first round picks, or stronger teams to get high picks in a year when they are picking really late in the first. I'm thinking it might disperse the first round talent a little more evenly.
Plus teams, if they really wanted to complete a trade could trade the asset after the draft I suppose.

Early season struggles are to be expected as we try to work in a ton of new faces.

3-3 sim. We will take it. Tom Ham goes down for a few months with shoulder inflammation. It sucks but at least he wont be lost for the entire season like Bunting. JP Bacic is dealing, which I like. Now, it onto Toronto to enjoy some poutine and then to Pittsburgh to continue their struggles.

It's not a bad idea. Just comes down to what kind of league we want.

Impressive fact about Durham I just learned.

He won a DWI in his final BLB season at age 36.

Not sure if that's been done before.

                          That'd be a bidding war.

4-2 to start the year, but everyone in the Stout had a solid week.

The pitching staff was fantastic as we gave up just 6 runs for the week. The lineup struggled out of the gate. I figure this team is going to ride the pitching for the most part, so not too surprising.

We were shut out twice against Morgantown. Then against Carolina, we didn't allow a single run in the series.

On a bad note, we lost Tyler Salzman for 2-3 months. I have 2-3 guys currently in the bullpen who should probably be starters (Garton, Ferneyhough, maybe Dwyer), so we should be ok. Still don't like seeing the injuries start already.

5-2 for the Bulldogs this week.

A 2 week injury to Caplan isn't all that unexpected, but I'm not excited about the diagnosis pending for Mendoza and Pelicano have a mild oblique strain that will keep him DtD for five days.

I knew we would struggle offensively but Kahng and Tamieke combined to give us 28.7 innings with just 1 ER allowed to keep us in games. Very impressive.
