    Exciting.

    We signed former home run champ General Alex Villarroel to a minor league contract with a major league option.

    He's in play for a pinch-hitting role with occasional DH responsibilities.

        Mr. Barbour. It is a competitive spring training. You can't strikeout 46% of the time and keep your job.

        Especially when you can't field well.

          Wow I know is only ST but....

          Williams --> .412
          Moore --> .296
          Frost --> .333
          Ryu --> .308
          Martin --> .435

          Cinelli --> 2.38 ERA
          Valenzuela --> 1.20 ERA
          Angulo --> 1.13 ERA
          Cuesta --> 2.25 ERA

          Really impressed about the numbers despite de 6-8 record, surprisingly are the veterans whom are not performing as expected... They are very rusty, and the youngers have been training all the fall!!!
          Miami Sharks (BLB)
          * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

          Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
          * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

            No one is injured, which is all I'm aiming for in ST.

            Philly looks like a juggernaut.

              No injuries...yet. This is the best ST record I've had in a while

                We lose Kroll for 2 months. We have some depth, but that's a hole we could have done without.

                  Are we seriously not doing "phrasing" anymore??

                        Our hitting and defense will be better. Our pen should be reliable. Starting pitching takes a hit without Taylor but I think Davis and Reyna will be big helps, plus Melgoza for a full season (I hope). And Spring Training is either a true indicator of future success or failure, or it's a box of lies.

                            I've always thought that ST doesn't really predict future success or failure for the upcoming season. However, I do think you can get a general idea of the talent level of players when they are given enough reps.
