    1/13 Wed AM - Spring Training 1
    1/14 Thur AM - Spring Training 2

    Reminder

    14. CONTRACTS
    • If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their third arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have three "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

I really like this. Teams with cash to burn are able to take advantage of the early prices.

Should be interesting to see where everyone lands at this point.

Gotschall for now considered the top 3 pitching prospect. We have ten prospects in the top 100.

Future is either bright or most of these guys will crash and burn.

              Prices

I guess Moon just doesn't like California. I've offered him twice at more that $14 million and he's asked for more money both times. Apparently pitching for a slo-pitch offence doesn't suit him.

Nah the problem is sometimes these guys get offered contracts more than their watered down demands but when they don't accept based on their prior demands when it switches it kind of washes away the prior offer

                  Actually that's completely wrong.

I've signed many FA's over the years by offering them way less that what they wanted at the time. When demands go down due to money available and time on the market nothing resets. It has to do with a variety of factors. Another factor could be Al Moon's desire for winning team is "very high", his highest personality trait. All though Cali is on the rise they didn't have a winning record last season so that might have something to do with it.

Well then. Thank you for clarifying

With the new financial climate in the BLB, would it be too much to split this last sim into 2 sins in the future?

I think this is a great idea.

Sure. We could probably do that now. I hate the over a month long SIM anyways...screws up the reports and utilities.
