Please kill the contract extension I offered Ontiveros.
He's only been thru the process 1x so far.
Actually, I just checked and he's been through the process 3x so he's good for an extension.

I love that Ontiveros hits a home run every 986 at-bats.

3rd arbitration contract is quite cheap, I thought it was the 3rd BIG arbitration contract

The first 3 are automatic renewal...$280k. The next 3 are Arbitration. Can run you from $500k to $10m +.

Let's finish voting on the two proposals in the rules section so we can have them settled for Opening Day.

The bidding war in FA will be nuts for the guy.

Can't unless you added cash to buy his contract down after a trade to mess up his demands. Gutz wants $24m this sim. Up from $19m, which is up from $14m.

Yeah. I could have gotten him a few sims ago for around $14/yr for the first two years, then quickly escalating up to $22 in the 6th year. Maybe should have taken it.

Or, traded him at the deadline for something.

Someone will pay him $25m a year and regret years 5 and 6.

For you, he's probably worth it. You'll get 4 strong seasons 28-32. The question is what comes after that?
