3-3 week, so nothing special, but it helps when those 3 wins all came against the team we're chasing.

4-2 week for the Sharks 10-9 in September with Moore playing really good baseball and Heard getting his first BLB hit!

I think we will make some noise next year out there and we will back to the play offs for 2015!

Back over .500, playing great ball to finish the year. 6 games back of second wildcard and a nice long road trip vs LA and Indy right in front of us. Not saying it's gonna happen...but after everything that's happened this season, to be playing well and playing meaningful baseball after completely gutting this roster, is more than we could ask for. Joey Leger has been tremendous since the beginning of August, with an OPS north of .950. Need to keep him rolling along with the other big boys in the lineup and our pitching needs to keep getting one out at a time.

            Let's "Shook" the world....

Where do you place in the line up your 2nd best base runner? (He's a rookie)

I didn't think about it, I was about to set him on the 13th spot just behind the manager!

                        Thank you for your help!

Speed is an ancillary trait for consideration of placement in a lineup (IMO).

This is why I think Carlos asked if he can hit. If he can't hit, bottom of the lineup is where he goes. If he can, I'd put him 1 or 2.

I have Sanchez with .255 and 20 SB #1 and Gamboa driving him in with .296 and 26 bombs at #2...

Shall I add Moore on the #2 spot and move Gamboa to the #3 then? Maybe he would drive both the last 2 weeks. .

I could be wrong, but I believe players hit differently based on where they are placed in the lineup. It is all about experimentation. Gamboa may embrace the move or not give a flying kcuf. Try and and see. Or that's just what I would do.
