Can we take a moment and enjoy what David Gamboa is doing at age 37?

I threw him in the Henry Rodriques trade last year as salary fodder.

He clearly could still hit, of course.

Now he's in Dallas and having his BEST season in 10 years. At age 37! It's remarkable.

Plus, he has started every single game!

He sure likes being a Shark.

Rough sim with some 1 run losses and losing a series to red hot CAL. Overall we are playing pretty well and could see us going on a roll. So many good teams. BAL is especially scary. Prez really outdid himself, I'm not sure we can compete with that BAL and even BAT mojo.

I feel like this has been an underwhelming season based on standings. The draft was great and there were some trade flurries and GM drama, but the season itself feels flat.

Maybe the postseason creates some anarchy.

Taking a look from a far the under the radar signings of RP Ted Gifford, RF Fred Schubert, 2B Fernando Ortiz and 3B Tom Griffiths were by the far Pawtuckets best free agent class ever. None of them cost a whole heck of a lot and none of them stars, but they fit the team concept nicely.

There's a certain wrecked OF righty out there right now I would of traded for to platooned with Schubert which would of been the final piece(Schubert is on borrowed time) , but a -6 PTY also tells me this team might be fine as long as it avoids major injury.

Just wanted to shout out on the free agents. Rarely does it all work out like that.

He deserved a contract extension :)

We're very happy with him and our stadium suits his strengths, he was selected for the all-star, I am hoping he can still playing at that level with 38 that our young core of players will start in the BLB!!! :)

                  Interesting.

For the first time that I can remember, I had a player (Dave Johnson) agree to a deal (I submitted the offer that he thought was fair) and he rejected it after the sim asking for more money and a longer contract.

Yeah, I've had this happen to me before.

                      I need some pitching prospects.

16 of my Top 20 prospects are hitters. If you are looking to balance out your minors and have pitchers to trade, send me a line.
