CAR hit the skids and suddenly CAL is right there. Same with MOR and PHI.

1-5 and just dropped 4 back of Washington just like that.

Dapson is diagnosis pending, which isn't completely unexpected given his injury history. Guess it's going to be uphill from here on out.

Pat Falvey (AAA) is ready for the show. Too bad we don't have room to promote him this year. We'll see you in blue and orange soon enough sir.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like the run of injuries you're having. What a brutal season.

Falvey took the fast track to the big show. Only 20. Impressive.

Baltimore was as bad if not worse. This game is infamous for picking on a certain team every few years. Like a moral modifier or something.

                      Horrible week for us 52-57

Williams has reached .270 in AAA

The guy is not far to be ready for the big show... Salazar is back from his chronic back pain and will get the starting nod again in AA

Can't wait to see what my youngsters can do together on the bigs

A lot of good careers ended that year. :(

Sorry Z. The game has decided it is time for Maine to rebuild.

We RELOAD not REBUILD in Baltimore.

Even at the expense of our best prospects.

                            Not happening.

Still, it's easily the worst I encountered in 35 seasons.

Right after I say that we're in trouble after losing DJ Nelson, we go 6-0 to grab our biggest division lead of the season, I think. I forget to take out my 5th starter Brookman and he tosses 8 shutout innings. Shows how much I know. Urmson led our offense with 4 HRs this week, but we got lots of good performances at the plate. Very good week for the Bats.
