    Fernando Hernandez had to leave Monday's game against Toronto in the second inning due to an injury.

    The bullpen stepped in and completed the 5-hit shutout, no problem.

    Can't remember seeing that happen before.

      Trujillo in AAA as a closer entering his prime. 12 Saves, under 2 ERA in just half of the season, nothing bad.

      Stuff -- > 6/7
      Movement --> 6/6
      Control --> 3/3 (OSA 4/4)

      Borderline Starter in the BLB

      The guy will get his major league contract on the 1st of September. See how the guy can do it in the majors for 6 weeks :)
      Anyone offering a 4th Round pick for him? Will turn 28 next SIM

          We went 4-3, starting with a 4 game sweep of Los Alamos, followed by getting swept by Death Valley. Dropped a game back of Baltimore. Unfortunately for us, we had our first big injury of the year, and it's a bad one for us to lose DJ Nelson for the remainder of the regular season. I think he might be back for the playoffs, but without him I don't think we can keep pace with Baltimore in the division. I probably would have traded him for practically nothing in the offseason, but he's pretty indispensable on this team now.

          After a couple of solid months, RJ Brookman has been shelled as our 5th starter the past couple times out. Might be time to see what else we've got.

              Not much going on in Wilmington. SS Jaylen Johnson is quietly turning into the type of player we anticipated him being when we got him from New Orleans. Hitting .299/.323/.433 so far on the season. Nice to see what he can do when he gets a full season with no distractions.

              1B Dave Monks may be a sleeper MVP pick this year. .281/.340/.497 with 17 HRs so far this season. Definitely something I'm keeping my eye on.

              SP Jaylen Mitchell is performig well also. We gave up the 1st overall pick this years draft to get him and this is why. 2.69 ERA with an 8-7 record, which would most likely be better if he had any offense behind him. Hopefully he continues to work and can become the staff ace we plan on him being.

              As far as the Minor Leagues go were looking bright as always. Currently sitting on the 2nd, 6th, 7th, and 8th best prospects in the game according to the rankings. While we aren't about to rush anyone up, you may see a few of these names comes September.
