I'm surprised Mike knew this trick. Especially when I spent an hour on the phone walking him through how to install OOTP...Toronto Canadians - 2004-

I still haven't updated the logos and uniform changes because I have no idea how to.

Odd, I made my pick last night (2.21) with about 5 minutes to spare. All good.
I get an email at about 2:45 this morning that I am up at 3.3. Just logged on to pick and the pick has been made. And my settings are now set to auto after round 2. Fortunately I got the guy on the top of my list, but seems like something went wrong.BLB

56th Pick
With the 56th pick the Kodiaks select 1B Dave Wescott. Just starting to show flashes of potential. It was hard to pass up a 'baseball rat' who is the last to the park and the first to leave. Sounds like someone who will outdo his projections.GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present

P Dave Gotschall will be an interesting prospect for me. I actually had my sights on him if Baltimore had taken Pat Webb in the first round.
So to get him in the third round is interesting, but not surprising.
OSA has him in a way that reminds me of Danny Melgoza when I first drafted him. However, my scout likely agrees with everyone else that he's more Tommy Potter and catchers are going to need bigger gloves to catch his off-track pitches.
Seems wild to me that my scout can see his potential as 3 in control, but OSA says he's going to be a control pitcher. Now, my scout does look at ability rather than potential and he also has very little budget so I'll let Frank Hamlet reminisce about hitting home runs in Denver 20 years ago rather than ask his opinion on draft picks.
I'm actually moving further and further away from a scout's opinion.Denver Bulls
