Steve Suarez won his eleventh consecutive DWI. Good for him.

Matt, my condolences on the passing of Mr. Liu. A tremendous loss for your organization. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with the Muckdogs family.

Does everyone (or anyone) else not have any scouting reports for all of 2013?

The last set of reports I have are from December 2012.

          Even on the PD report?

I can see on each individual player the current scouting report (11/4/13), but when I go into the PD report (PDR) to see the change over time, the last visible report is from December 2012 for both my scout and OSA scouting PDR.

            Pawtucket offseason:

As expected 'Red' kicked our asses in his arbitration. Saw that coming

Pawtucket debuts a top 100 prospect!! OF Hawthorn, right from the 'one mans trash' or as Delandis refers scavenging. So that nice.

We have about 11 mil for free agency, but only 2-3 roster spots available. Think we'll wait for some of those prices to come down.

            Ale news:

Usually don't comment on other teams budget, but if I was Hartford I'd have a FIELD DAY with that amount of free agent money.

Assumin you have a high PD budget anyway, even of you spend 60 million on players you'll have plenty of cash left. Jack the players demands, get some good players, HAVE FUN!!

Remember owners are your enemy, give them nothing.

I think this year is the first time I entered the offseason with no apparently open roster spots.

I have this dumb theory that each season they're has to be an x amount of roster turnover or the team grows stale.

Then again, I have a lot of stupid theories.

As someone who kept the same core for years, I don't subscribe to that theory.

Though this offseason's sameness looks extreme even for us.

Still, maybe a trade or two will come to pass.

Yeah core is different. Like I said usually 'spare parts' and slow core shifting.

We will tread carefully with our budget. Just because we have a boatload of money, doesnt mean we need to spend it. Ive made mistakes with bad contracts in the past.

You know what's a really good contract?

29 year old Jamie McPherson, the league's #3 career leader in OPS and #6 hitter on the Top Player's List, for just 10M this year.

                        THAT is a great deal.

Just keep the contracts shorter if you can.

Remember all the left over money ends up going to owners pockets. If we had dynamic owner on perhaps it would matter?

Either way 71 million has to be fun. Wish they're was some cool Intl player like Fuji right now just to watch you have at itl

Please excuse my ignorance, but is there a way to walk away from an arbitration decision?

Or is it so that if I don't withdraw an offer, I'm stuck with the arbitrations ruling regardless?

                            Thanks guys!

It did one of those "here's a scouting report from 5-7 years ago" things and it's got to be a glitch.

No scouting dept in its right mind would ever do this.
