On a positive note, Dave Monks is making a case for ROY. .274/.327/.421/.748. 14 HRs. 46 RBI. Rookie of the month in May and June. 8 outfield assists. He's been one of the bright spots on a team with 35 wins.

8 games up with 4 against DAV coming up. We had an amazing month, mostly because we can now score some runs. Giving up some of our pitching for hitting seems to have us turning the corner.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)

Wasn't an Allstar this year.
I'm really curious to see where this ranks as an all time season.....

This was not the plan going into 2013.
Two funny events this offseason changed that: 1) Spear- "Why not just take Dunn also?" The fact I wasn't even looking to trade for him makes me laugh. Just wanted Reeves. Good idea Spear!!! 2) Anonymous GM - "I just got my scout and he says Lemus isnt very good" LOL wow. Lemus wasn't even suppose to be here this season. He was going to be flipped after the whole Toronto trade, but the GM balked at the last second and we were stuck with our dicks in the wind. Luckily Jimmy always dug SP- Troy Donavon and was able to move him off the books and we ended up with the rare luxury of having two elite lefty starters.
Its been fun. Haven't ran a 7 day lineup all season. Playoffs can still be a crapshoot, but I like our chances. Now lets see if they can finish this?Last edited by funclown; 10-06-2015, 11:36 AM.PAWTUCKET PATRIOTS

So our last chance to do anything within this division starts today. 8 back? Probably not going to catch Washington but we could really use that HFA in a one game playoff against Philly. But as we said before, we've got to worry more about the Mohawks. After going 35-39 in April-June they are 38-16 since July. A hell of a turnaround.
I don't know who gets MOY award, yet. Very good candidates as usual this year.
