2.5 games back of a wildcard spot now after a 5-1 week.
Huge 4 game-set against the Tobs coming up next week. Could be the turning point of the season if I don't take at least 2 games.

      Pawtucket 5-1.

Month of August was probably the best month in the history of Pawtucket going 24-3. We expect a bit of a drop off in September as month to month we tend to go up and down. Hopefully this bodes well for October.

Well on the bright side, Malik Roberson had a 22 game hit streak when we demoted him back to AAA.

That's one way to display that you are ready for the show.

Finally it's September, which means Jaylen Mitchell will make his debut....it's been a long season but this will give the fans something to cheer about.

                  Millers are still hot.

                  Marshburn and Bafford raked.

Addition: Bafford has taken this throne as the number one ranked player on the top players list. Congrats bud

I've been trying to develop him slowly and carefully. I put him in a 6 man rotation in AAA because his 'fragile' status scared me.

I wanted him to have a full AAA season before being called up. We didn't need him anyways and was hoping to have those 7's developed (they never did). He's currently at 6-6-6.

Personally I think he's bored. The time to bring him is now. Talley didnt start hitting on 7's until he came up. Mcdade still hasnt hit his 7 for control.

7's more times then not don't come.

We suck. 17 straight losses. I've been bringing a lot of new guys up. Tinkering with the lineup. Probably doing too much and not letting the guys get into a rythm. Well see how Sept goes.

On a positive note, Dave Monks is making a case for ROY. .274/.327/.421/.748. 14 HRs. 46 RBI. Rookie of the month in May and June. 8 outfield assists. He's been one of the bright spots on a team with 35 wins.

And 6's aren't a bad thing. Guys can put up HOF careers with 6's.

OF Johny Morris for his first few seasons sported a 7 for contact then "settled in at 6" where he began an impressive string of .300 batting for several seasons.

                              Bottom line: I agree
