    Dammit. My fault Matt.

I sat right there this morning and looked at those dudes and didn't do anything with them. Now I have to hope it wasn't anybody I wanted to keep.

Apparently there is an All-Star strike. Teams announced, history updated, but no game.

The discrepancy between our home and road wins and losses confuses the hell out of me. Our pitchers are a half run a game better at home than on the road which makes zero sense. I always expect the batting splits to be heavily favoring home but the pitching is what's throwing me off.

Luckily I have an easy night tonight with my schedule so I'm gonna analytic the hell out of this to see if I can't find a way to change it.

Players generally play better at home, despite park factors. Pat would disagree but I've seen it my park too often for it to be anecdotal.

Sweep BAT, swept by CAR. Huge four game set vs DAV. Strachan re-ups with us and is Pat Bryant retirement insurance. Tom Wright and Alex Torres have been terrific acquisitions.

Pawtucket 4-2 , but both losses were blown leads heading into the 8th. Good timing on acquiring P Toshihiko Morikawa since RP Todd Rabb has earned a new home in Lynn AAA and lefty Trent McCleary soon to follow.

Still, we increased our lead in the Ale to 8, best record at Allstar Break and were hitting the cover off the ball. Can't win every game.

Glad to be healthy going into the 2nd half.

Been down this road a lot. I honestly think each season our teams recieve some hidden modifiers (good or bad) that keeps us puzzled on certain elements of the team's play thru the season.

                        Hope you figure it out.

The dreaded "you are screwed by injuries haha" modifier is the worst.

Jamie August may have been the steal of the draft in the 2nd round.
