        Thanks, Matt.

We bounced back with a 5-1 week on the road at New York and Hartford.

Unfortunately for us, Pawtucket went 6-0 at home against those two clubs! So they extended their division lead to three games.

Steve Suarez is finally hitting like Steve Suarez again. He had such a rough start coming back from the injury. He won DL Player of the Week!

Also, note for umd: Danny Salcedo will make his Guides debut at Death Valley this week.

Not sure if anyone else is having the same issue, but some of the links to games don’t work properly and actually link to games my team didn’t play in, haha.
          Here’s my team schedule.
          http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...chedule_6.html

Click on the June 4th game against Davenport. It leads you to a boxscore of a game between Davenport and Baltimore.
In fact, all the games this week link to improper games.
Same with my AAA teams. The games are linked to contests that took place in the 2012 season.

          Odd.

It's an HTML issue. The game uses the same game id's year after year, so if the link is pointing to a box score for a game id that wasn't updated with the latest html file, the old file from last year will still be there (since it wasn't overwritten).

We've hit our first real skid of the season (bound to happen at some point). The offense is stuck in neutral (or maybe even reverse). Losing Alex Gomez is a real problem for us. He was the perfect 2 hole hitter. We'll keep mixing it up until we find something that works. Wild Card here we come!

Pawtucket 6-0, we took advantage of our homestand which is nice considering all these freaken road game to start the year off.

Former DV star 3B Edgar Castillo seems to be the spark our offense finally needed. For once as expected Edgar is playing much better in a more friendly right handed park.

More importantly OF Haraguchi signed to a much more team friendly contract after weeks of "I want to test free agency"

Note on Haraguchi : We actually had a cheap contract on the table which he said "Ok sounds good" to , but then came back and wanted more $$$$. Thats never happened to us before. Either way we stepped up some and added a few more million to it. 3 years is reasonable for a 29 year old these days.

Cole and Perez resign with us. We need one more bullpen arm and we are done adding BLB pieces. It'll take a few weeks for the offense to click, but on paper this line-up should score more runs.

Garza and Anthony are still available for picks/prospects. I would trade Tyler Clarke for a MR and my 3.5 pick is available for immediate bullpen help as well.

5-1 sim going up against two great teams in LA and NO. Shaved off a few games of our deficit to the Cuse, now only 1.5 back. Going to have to beat them when we play them, to this point 1-5 vs them is the difference in the standings so far.

Carolina and Morgantown this week in a battle of the leagues. Really excited to see how we fair against the tobs, what squid has done with that team is so impressive and they're at the top of the division each and every year.

Hanks got Morgantown playing some great baseball as well, and I think as the young players develop we're going to see them around for a long time.

                      Notable stats:

Mongo Brooks and Jarrod Syversten are having really strong starts to the season

                      Brooks: 5-1 ... 2.18 ERA
                      Syversten: 6-2 ... 2.30 ERA

We're hopeful that these two are mainstays at the top of our rotation for a long time.

                      ---------------

Finally, I know this is a fictional baseball league and there aren't a bevy of real life issues discussed here but it's important that we remember the impact of 9/11, and to anyone who was directly affected by that day, you will remain in my prayers.

To those who have served, are currently serving or have family serving to protect the United States....THANK YOU!

5-1 including 2 of 3 over Philly, and the guys looked good out there.

McPhenom went 8/22 with 1 HR, 5 BB, 2 doubles, and a triple in his first week as a Bulldog. Teams will really have to pick their poison this year with Sanchez, McPherson, Santana and Sanders who all could hit 25+ home runs this season.
