We dodged a HUGE bullet with that Diag Pending for Perkins. Damn, I hate those! Almost posted him on the block that second. Lol

Yeah, that was another big week for us. I swear that every week I face Denver I say "this is the series I get crushed". It just hasn't happened yet. Still a lot of season...

So, Herberholz just picked up the W number 200 of his career and is now 10 Ks short of the top spot in league history. The guy's out there doing it on guts alone these days, but great to see one of the all timers stick around long enough to hit some pretty significant marks.

        Love it.

On a related note, Fernando Hernandez also won his 200th career game this sim.

Neat to see the two guys do it in the same week.

5-2 and yep still in 3rd place.

          I'm noticing a theme here.

Another milestone achieved recently: Koichi Nakashima notched career save number 600 on 05/26. Another all-time great with absolutely nothing left in the tank out there gutting out innings.

I obviously don't know the history behind this guy, but I like seeing that he has been with Windy City his entire career. I'm in rebuild mode, so I have nothing to lose in keeping him in there. I'm interested to see how many Ks he can rack up before his arm just gives out completely.

Great plan. Best pitcher in IL history.
