Took OF Geoff Reisinger scout has him at 6-6-4-7-4. Could slide into a DH role down the road. He has a good make-up and that was the deciding factor to draft him over some of the available prospects on the board.

Wilmington is on the clock with two picks.

The newer general managers did a great job with their first round picks this year. Nice work, guys!

Half of these guys getting selected aren't even on my radar. I don't know if I should be worried as I hired a new scout this year and invested heavily into amateur scouting.

                  That sounds good.

More like older OOTP where there was actual variation in scouts biews.

Not to scare you...but your pick of Reisinger was the first time I said, "who?" in the 2013 draft. But, when he wasn't battling injuries he mashed, OSA likes him a lot and he's got good intangibles.

$12.5M in scouting better prove that he's worth something!

                        Sorry, technical difficulties.

LA selects SP Erik Bell. Looks like he may be a solid kid one day. He was obviously "working on something" because his last 10 games were pretty nice.

Pitt is really happy to get SP Ernie Nunn of out the 'U' at 1.20. I think he has a chance to be special if he continues to improve the way he has

With the number 1.22 the Snappers select Bob Contreras, he is recovering from a 4 months torn labrum, but was his only injury in college, OSA likes him and my scout likes him. He has 3 different pitches above 5 and Scouting says would be a good #3 or #4 SP in the big leagues. See how he goes. We have a hell of a pitchers in the minors right now, hopefully all of them will make it in 3 years time

With the 23rd overall selection, Maine selects Micah York out of Blessed Sacrament High School in Virginia.

                              Not a typical Maine pitcher.

Rolling the dice a bit with the 23rd pick.

My scout doesn't like him, but he reminds me of Adan Neubauer nevertheless.

He had nine 10+ strikeout games in 26 career high school starts.

                              His control is pretty good.

Don't know how deep into games he'll be able to go, but I think better than his stamina suggests.

His ERA his last two years in high school doesn't look good on paper but he played in a strong hitters league with a weak defense behind him.

I think he could be a good one.

I like that pick. I considered him at 1.15. His stats and the injury scared me off. But he might be able to make it as a backend starter like your scout says.
