My scout has him at 4-7-8-5-4.
I think he might have lasted a few more picks but I don't know if those teams (HAR, CAL, MOR, WC) would have been looking to move down. And after Lee went off the board I got trigger happy. It's a gamble but I wasn't sure of who would be around at #17 and #20 that I thought were safe picks.
My scout has Rhoads 5-4-8-7-4 and thinks if he stays healthy he could end up in the Hall of Fame. His stats are up there with Ethan Bafford's HS numbers. Of course, Bafford can field and run too, but I like the comparison at least when they are at the plate.
He's a RH pull hitter. At his high school park, the fence down the line is 342 FT and left field 381 and left-center 429. In DC the park is 329, 343 and 380.
I guess we will find out in about 5-6 years if it was worth it.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
Washington Bats - 1979-2013

He'll mash, but I'm surprised Pat moved up to get him. No defense and no intangibles, but I'm a fan of trusting your scout if you've got the cash invested.

Best case: I just drafted the right-handed Ethan Bafford, without the speed and defense.
Worst case: I just drafted the right-handed Stephen Alexander, and New Orleans gets two good players with #17 and #20.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
