  • Ok, Carlos. We're back to you at 3.20. Hopefully that's far enough back (it's difficult to tell from the server timestamps on picks whether they auto fired or were actually made after NYK at 3.15).

5-4-6-5-6 POT. Probably best at 2B and maybe a poor mans 3B.

Looking at the draft, seems since middle 2nd round there was a huge reach for arms. Works for me. Love round 3
I noticed his bat but couldn't figure out where he plays.

          Clearly not short.

If I must, I'd probably try him at third because his arm is sufficient and his range will hurt you less there than at second.

Interested to see how it goes for you.

Was thinking along those lines. Funny we drafted Jimmy Lee was plays 3rd , but moving to SS. Now we're moving this kid from SS to 3rd.

              • We may have to shorten the time between picks to like 30 minutes today. We're really behind right now. Did we just get off to a late start or is the day of the draft just throwing us off?

Didn't seem like our pace was bad.

                • I love watching guys like New York's third round pick Tom Daniel get drafted.

As a high school starting pitcher, he finished with a 1-14 record and a 9.58 ERA.

His ratings look okay—maybe he'll be alright—but I find it amusing nevertheless.

Going to be extremely difficult to achieve that, but if there's any group of men that can do it, they are on this forum.

                    • I'm really liking this new draft we have.

There are still a ton of guys that my guy likes and going by the differences we've seen so far, I'm pretty sure some will still be there. May even make for more minor league trades.

And mid round picks might have value in trades once again. I miss those days.

I'm on my second tier war board now, but glad to have two 5th round picks in this draft. Thinking my board will be empty at the end of round 6

Last season my list was done by round 4 (and it was mostly OSA guys)
