He will trade him to you next year and he can DH. Even if it's .50c to the dollar, still getting value for a guy who was about to leave in FA.

Trust me Pat, nobody's more excited about leaving the Stout than me, haha.

BTW, congrats on the Championship this season!

Don't sleep on the Mohawks....a few moves this offseason now that the big man is back in their lineup and they could be battling with 85+ wins next year staring at a wild card shot

2013 might be the largest payroll in franchise history.

Ouch... got raped in arbitration....but I guess they deserve it.

After re-signing Cardenas and Reyes, Washington doesn't have much money to spend. Still need a pitching coach. Might not spend anywhere else.

Wake me up when we get to ST1.

Just got back home and took a quick look at the FA class this year. All in all, I think there are some pretty darn good options to add to teams out there.

Not bad at all. Took a while, but has leveling the playing fields finally helped out our free agency?

We haven't seen a Free-Agent pitching class like this ever.

                        RJ Manning!
                        Brendan Lindsey!
                        Robby Aten!
                        Dave Dunham!
                        CJ Skinner!
                        David Rodriguez!

                        Wish I had some money.

                          You and me both!

I'd have to slash my scouting and PD budget, and I'd still only get peanuts. In hindsight, going all in last year may have been a mistake...

We're pretty much set. Arbitration went perfect. I could probably roll with what I have on my roster right now and add nobody. However, I'll probably move Tom Cole here shortly and use his salary plus the $4.5m I have budgeted for FA to land one big fish or a couple smaller ones.

If anyone wants Edgar Salazar just ask. You may be surprised what lands him.

Also, looks like one of Tony Garza, Rogelio Guadamuz or Masao Nara are packing there bags here shortly, so if you wanted one, now is the time.

Yeah that Manning $20m team option was a death wish.

Rental prices. I traded him straight up pretty much for Melvin Hurtado. Who is Melvin Hurtado. Nobody... yet.

Manning had 38 saves, .78 ERA and won the Last Call.

                                Go bother Delandis. You're tiresome.
