  • OOTP 15?

Are you guys running OOTP 15 or 16? OOTP 15 is on a Humble Bundle this week, and if that's what you're running I'll pick it up and try my hand. I've been in the OSFL for the last couple of seasons and am loving it. Thought I might give this side of things a go as well.

OK, so I bought OOTP15 and have been messing around with it over the last day. This is pretty dang in depth. For those that have played in the OSFL and here what would you say the difference is in regards to time commitments? It might be because I'm doing single player, so the season flies by, but keeping up with all of my minor league clubs and coaching staffs seems to take a lot more effort than FOF. Is this generally true or am I just used to FOF and have to give OOTP more time?

Here's the link to Shark's newbie question thread he started...pretty good stuff.

            http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/foru...ad.php?t=18362

As far as time commitment because we only sim 1 week at a time...every other day...the season doesn't fly by that fast. So there are minor adjustments in season with injuries/trades/waiver wire but mostly it's off-season stuff.

I spend most of my time perusing the HTML just to look at news, stats, injuries, etc. I might spend 5-10 minutes a week total actually in game doing adjustments.

              Matt,

Thanks for that link. The financial breakdown in that thread has been very helpful. I jumped right into this game without reading any documentation, so most of my confusion is my own fault.

My biggest concern was the time commitment, but it doesn't seem like that's that big of an issue so I should be fine there.
