Had an 18 game stretch early on. It's rough.

This week we host Morgantown for three, then travel to DVS for a very important three game series. The Stout could have a new leader.

It just didn't work out for Leger.
I agree. I wouldn't have moved him up, but I also don't really move anyone up. My guys never skip a level - even if they play just a month at A or AA. Most of my players reach the BLB at 24-26.

Leger may have been moved quickly, but I don't think that is what killed him. He had the statistics at the minor league levels he played in to justify the moves. Was it fast? Sure, but I think we all have differing philosophies on how to promote.

He hit .287 as a rookie, so to say he wasn't ready isn't really accurate. I don't know what happened in years 2 and 3 - I'd have to dig into the utility. However, he's looked good this year and has begun to hit his potentials and is having a nice bounce back season. I'd expect him to improve on his numbers from here on out.

I don't think he's the power hitter he was projected as and it looks as though he's a scout and OSA rating "dropper" more than a "riser".

        And a 97 OPS+...in a hitters park.

It's a complete feel thing nothing more. He's not performing this season for me, but 1B Tom Smith was rushed based purely on stats in the minors. Obviously not normal Pawtucket like growing.
