Of course, if we were even, we'd be in first place and Ryan would still be rebuilding...
    Perhaps.

3-3 sim, sweeping Cali, then getting swept by the Bulldogs. Five up on the fighting Snappers.

Pretty happy with Ted Hall's debut. He went 6 1/3, allowing 4 hits and two runs, both earned. He did walk 5, but K'd 7. Allowed one Home Run. Kind of a mixed bag, and the AI blew past his pitch limit, which is really nice.

Rookie Second Basemen Shane Davis, brought up from Double A prior to this sim for his defense, hits a Home Run on the very first pitch he sees for the Clowns. We'll take that.

Another bad week for the Snappers, Pitching and D was excellent but we just couldnīt connect the bat with the ball...

Happy trails, Tom Hau. Guy put together a great comeback season this year - 7-4, 1.33 WHIP, 3.80 ERA, 3.1 WAR - before tearing his UCL this past sim. Out 10 months, we won't pick up his team option, and outside of a rebuilder needing an arm next July, probably out for all of 2013 realistically.

Also good luck to Mauricio Granados. Cuban, Intl FA who I signed to a minor league contract a few years back - scout has always had him at 5-5-6 and for awhile had some nice comments as well. Toronto claimed him where he'll get a chance to start regularly. Always liked him, but he could never win a spot in the bigs.
