Looks like Banuelos found a home in Denver.

Seems like he had been a "throw-in" of sorts for nearly every trade he was involved in.

      Great young player.

I traded him pretty much straight up for Tom Cole.

Dave Nelson and Marco Lona have been damn good.

I mean I knew they were awesome. Nelson is still only 29 so still got a bit of time to see what he can do in the 2nd half of his career.

Obviously Banuelos would be great to have right now and his defense is similar to Cole's, but Cole has played very well for us the last few seasons. He's arguably been our best player this season outside Gutierrez.

I used him as part of a package to land set up lefty Fajardo and would do it again. Being a lefty no way Banuelos puts those numbers up in Pawtucket.

Pat I think he took your comment to heart.

I meant non-pitcher. I've never had trouble trading for and drafting strong pitchers. Honea has been amazing this season and he's definitely turned into the pitcher I traded Lindsey (who then won a Pale Ale the next season) for.

The only pitchers I have playing poorly are Tyler Clarke (DL) and Tom Bell. Bell was my fault for thinking he could start. I won't make that mistake again next season.

Bertin has been alright as a #6 starter and I still think Bourne will become about a 12-13 win 3.85 ERA starter for us.

My real hopes are resting on Willie Fajardo being the next big time pitching star for us.

I'm really proud of Annapolis' Quincy Lacombe (AAA). After being demoted back to AAA for the second consecutive year, he didn't get down on himself. 15 games started in AAA, 1 out of every 3 games has been ended in CG for him. On top of that he's got a 1.01 WHIP and a 2.46 ERA.

You got to love guys like this.
