The guy's been unbelievable, I have no idea how I'm going to turn down that $20MM option for next year, but I have to. Hoping after I decline he accepts some kind of discount, but it's still gonna be more that I want to drop on a closer.

As for Jimmy Jones, we had a crowded OF and no 3B. I'm glad to see he's rebounded, but we added Castillo and promoted our young OFs who have been productive.

Edgar Castillo. Back when we used to give out those little free nuggets called "comp picks" for over-the-hill stars. The good ole' days.

I gave Andrew a choice between him and Hector Minas (MOR) for Wenceslas Hautbourg. I was looking at these two guys and at first glance I thought Castillo was easily the better player but overall it looks like it was a wash.

Different tools but similar overall talent level.

Pawtucket with back to back winning sims. Going to set a simple goal of trying to snag the #1 wildcard. Got to keep it real.

Hey Z.........who's gonna be your starting pitcher for the wildcard? Not saying were a lock or anything (I guess the Pilsner still exist), but just to get the bantering started I figure its gonna be McDade or Lemus going for Pawtucket. Maine really has Tally's number ever since he arrived. Funny how the game works.

            Anyway just curious.

Hell of a pick up Jistic, but damn he'd prob have gone top 5 this draft...UDFA becomes a top 20 prospect, never seen anything quite like it.
Lol, I was wondering when people would pick up on that. I'm trying to keep a low profile these days. Sucks I missed out on him.

Well done Jistic. I always say the more active you can be with your team (signings, waivers, trades, ect) typically the positives out weight the negative.

My starting pitchers will be at Buffalo Wild Wings watching Pawtucket vs. Pittsburgh. They already made the reservation.

                          Damn. Just seeing this.

My scout has him 6-6-6 potential, "should be among league leaders some day," 8 on stamina, OSA 8-6-4, and he's "durable."

He might have gone #1 in the draft actually.

Taking advantage of the game is not well done.

A "hey something is weird, Rice released a stud prospect" post would have been more benificial and in the interest of the league. Stuff like this just bugs me. Brad and I work hard to run a great league and keep the competitive balance but it takes everyone to do so.

I'm not bringing it up again but it's now another thing I need to check and try and watch.
