Welcome back Tom..first week back in the Burgh and he goes crazy with a .522/.542/.609 week. Good stuff.

Disappointed that we lost Todd Sieloff and Edgar Luna to Batavia somehow. Both of those players were acquired as depth and insurance and were splitting time as my starting SS in AAA. For some reason, not to my doing, the were designated for assignment (even though they had options and we not on the big league roster) and now I've lost them. How can I lose both guys in one swoop though? Like they're the only two player on that roster playing SS, the toughest position to find good young players at. Kinda ticks me off.

Hope someone can clarify this for me.

You were over the 25 limit for both your AAA and AA for a SIM. Therefore I have to stop the SIM and figure out what to do. If it's DFA I can cut them, but when I have to re-arrange someones roster it's tricky.

They were picked due to OSA ratings (all I can see) of 4 contact and a little red arrow for them to be dropped a level.

After claiming them I realized they were the guys I DFA'd but I can assure you there was no ulterior motive there. My scout says there are both destined to be minor league guys and I needed some depth at AAA and to possibly bring up later if more guys get hurt.

My bad. I'm surprised it said I was over though I usually spend a good amount of time guaranteeing that I'm at 25/25, including making tough decisions on guys.

Must have missed this one, randomly.

Sorry it made you stop the sim.

Wow, I've been MIA and finally looked at my team. They're all injured or cold. I'm not sure we are surviving my summer vacation since I have 2 possibly 3 more sims to miss.

Somehow we are 8 back now. Seeing that my team is around where I hoped it to be after this sim, I fully expect we will go 0-6 against two of the Ale's best.

Looking forward to the end of my season.

Only one. Were in 3rd. Pawtucket is just trying to make due in this topsy turvy world.

I think Dallas falling back to earth is gonna make things close in the Pilsner.

5-1 as we played very well in our inter-divisional games these past two weeks, going 8-2 against our Porter mates after the All-Star Break. Since midway through June we've been the best pitching team in the BLB and if we can continue to get some offense to help these guys out, we can get to that 1st round home series that we have our eyes set on.

-Jimmy Lee (OF) looks ready to play in Baltimore going 9/25 with 2 doubles, 4 walks and a very impressive .448 OBP for the week. This the first time that I've had a player ask for an extension the first sim after a trade. Someone is happy to be in Baltimore.

Oscar Gaxiola (RP) only got in one inning of work last week, probably due to the dominance that our starters showed last week. In that inning however, he didn't give up a home run but walked one and struck out one.

-Terumoto Chiba's return was decent enough, going 5/16 with 1 home run and 4 RBI. I was encouraged to see that he's still making good contact and only struck out 3 times, which was really my biggest worry with him coming back.

So you're not one of three best teams in the Ale?

I really shouldn't have to explain this.

5-1 sim to bring us within 1/2 of Dallas.

I feel like I need one more big-ish deal before the deadline, but I may have the player or two I need in house.

Another horrible week for us, we really needed our Injured players to comeback, we donīt have the depth to keep your pace guys...

Being 0 Ws against you doesnīt help at all either...
