    Robby Aten shut out Pawtucket.

Fred Schubert has a 20-game hitting streak. Upon hearing about this achievement, Mike ran into the middle of traffic.

Of the 14 position players on Maine's roster, six of them have the little "ice cold" snowflake icon.

But we had a good week anyway.

Dave Shook and Mike del Rio didn't make the all star teams.

      That's a goddamn crime

Going to show some Baltimore love.

        Santana first ASG since 2007.
        Jones first since 2008.
        Yoshi Tameike first since 2009.

Not bad, sir. Picked up some former All-Stars in the trade market. They had some injuries. They came back strong.

          As for Denver.

T.J. Davis struck out 11 in his first BLB start.
Potter gave up 5 runs in the first inning and then cruised through 6. But the first did him in for a loss.

Promising way to reach the break.

McPherson makes his fifth straight ASG appearance. Fatter with more home run power. Interesting change for this guy.

Verba makes a second straight and third overall. Still has the power and speed.

Banuelos selected to his first. Turning into a deadly weapon at the plate.

Good month for you so far.

Interested to see what happens with the Pilsner. I don't think you're out of it.

Dallas is in first, but they're trying to sell.

Indy is eight games back and in sell mode.

Syracuse trails by eight and a half games and is eerily quiet.

            And then there's Denver.

And we also got a few shutouts of our own and finally put an end to that crazy losing skid against Maine.

Still, 3-3 so nothing gained. 5 games up on the wildcard to the same team we smoked last week. The division is gonna be tough even though we've come back as far as 10+ back at various times in our past. These are some really good teams in the Ale, perhaps the best 1,2,3 punch we've ever had. Time will tell.

5 Allstars (3 starting pitchers). If we do manage to get into the playoffs think we carry enough pitching to make some noise.

1-1 vs. Wilmington. 3-1 vs. DVS.

                Hot heading into the break.

Blah, we're done. Gonna shed some veterans and wait for the inevitable maturation of my A-ball prospects.

2-4 in Wilmington's first sim under new leadership. Split a 2 game series with Washington then went 1-3 vs Morgantown.

Still feeling out the game and learning new things each day, but like our record shows, we're just not that good right now. But whats the fun of this game if you inherit an annual contender. Ill right the ship soon enough. We are on the right course. Tom left me with a solid foundation. It's up to me to run with it.

A bird in the hand. Not to mention it's Todd Taylor's first All-Star appearance in his 8 BLB years.

It's a very impressive turn around from the Crudge/Chiba injuries.

You're definitely right! Totally just using the roster I inherited! Just like in 07, Sal Bermudez, Shane Carroll and Herb Rocha are really doing well for me!

And Tom Griffiths is killing it at 3B, Camejo at 1st and Schubert doin damage in CF for 70 games a year.

Maybe this year I'll actually make some moves, but until then I'll just keep that same original roster in tact, thanks for noticing!
