      Thanks Matt!!!!!!!

5-2 week and we extend our lead in the division to 3.5 games. Monster week by del Rio - he went .464/.483/.929 with 3 HR and drove in 7 runs. Brings his season total up to .324/.350/.516 good for a .866 OPS. Maybe making a bid to be an all-star this year?

Didn't expect him to be as productive at the dish but he's spend the majority of the season in the 2 hole in front of Bafford and Shook so he's really seeing good pitches this year....

That brings us to Dave Shook...Continues to amaze me this year, knew he was going to be a productive bat but I certainly didn't expect the production he's been giving us this year. He took home his 3rd straight Rookie of the Month award hitting .337, with 6 HR in 25 RBI in the month of June. Currently his .654 SLG is first in the DL for all players, as well as being first in OPS (1.016), wOBA (.416), HR (22) T-1st in RBI (59), T-1 Runs Scored (51), 1st in XBH (42), 1st in Total Bases (170) and 1st in ISO Power (.335). Just an amazing season for the rookie out of Ok. State.

6 days until Bafford returns. He'll be ready to go when we play Pawtucket for a quick two game series.

Lol, for some reason I thought Delandis's "new rule " came into affect for single A. Maybe a bit too much to drink yesterday.

4-2, kind of just hanging around.

First loosing week in a while 3-4, dropping 1-3 against Indy at home is not a very positive sign, lead cut off to 5.5 games right now, hopefully we will do it better next week!

Davis and Potter dealing in the pen.

But we have the same problems. Starting pitching and defense.

Thankfully, Schiefelbein and Robertson are demonstrating strong talent to possibly lead Davis, Potter, Gabby and Reyna into our future.

            We are still so young.

                  Ughh, 1-5.

I guess we were due for a power outage sooner or later but I wish it hadn't been in divisional games. 3 late leads given up is not good. We need this All-Star break big time.

Chiba had a strong first week in his rehab assignment at AAA though!

I saw. It's very encouraging to see that kind of performance after being out as long as he has been. He's going to be a big improvement offensively over Tanaka, who really hasn't been bad. He's just not an everyday player.

Silvia has earned his keep against RHP and will probably stay there until it looks like Chiba is 100% back to form though.

Lost Omura for the rest of the season with a broken elbow. 2-2 with a 2.29 ERA, 23 K's, 6 BB's. What a bummer.

Hopefully he can heal and him and Clark can pitch together next season in Batavia.

Got dominated by Pittsburgh's pitching and then took 1/3 from Pawtucket. I knew it was going to be a rough sim.

Very solid month for Roberto Ortega, the 33 Year old veteran racked up a 5-0 Record in 5 Starts, posting a 2.84 ERA over 38 innings and striking out 33.

8-3 and 3.11 ERA, hopefully this week he will slow down Pittsburgh + Pawtucket as well.

In the minors Tom Hentz threw an excellent month in A, in 5 starts he finished 4-1 with a 1.49 ERA 39 K in 36.1 Innings... Wondering if I should promote him or just keep him there to get more confidence and win more games.... He´s only 21 Years old and probably will get stacked somewhere in AA or AAA for the rest of his career, but I like that kind of achievements

It looks like all the injuries are starting to slow the Tobs down a bit. I'm pretty maxed on salary right now, so I'm going to roll with my homies. Defense will be awful for the remainder of the season and hopefully we will overcome that in the playoffs.
