    I support this suggestion.

    I don't think there's any harm in a couple extra sims to gather stats and scouting reports.

                    That's what I do... never cut the young guys right away. At most I DFA them and use the later round picks as injury filler on the three levels.

                      It's called red shirting. Pawtucket does this a lot.
