Bad luck for you there wasn't a true stud available there but Goldsmith will be a very nice left-handed starting pitcher.

Nice 5-1 week for the Brawlers. Think we'd have to do that the rest of the season to catch those turds in Carolina.

I thought the same thing. Next years draft should be better though. Ill just watch the good teams in the Ale slug it out from down here.

Another winning week 4-3 this time as the tendency seems to start to switch again. Tipsword was claimed to Pittsburgh (Mike thanks to take his salary) and he was very unproductive for us the whole season...

What is going on guys? Can we have now 40 players in A?? During how long??

Single-A rosters are expanded to make room for the rookies. I believe you have two sims to get back down to 25.

It's time to make decisions. Lots of promotions and players being released over the next few weeks.

Due to the draft we up the limit to 40 players. We usually give 2 SIMs to get back to 25...so Sunday AM's SIM.

Is it wrong if I still think Denver is gonna have something to say in that division before its all said and done?

They're lurking and that lineup could get hot at any time

I'd like to hope so but we aren't gaining ground. We can't beat the good teams and are pretty much .500 against the average and bad ones.

I agree that the lineup should get hot at some point, but it's looking like one of those years where Eckstein and Wilkinson are only defensive players. And 3B has been a mystery box the past two seasons. It's good to have 6 above average hitters but it's not enough when I only have two actually good starters.

Right now I'm trying to figure out how to promote Potter and Davis. I might have only one option and I'm not truly sure it will net the result I'd prefer.

Gabby looks like he is a year away to me.

Potter looks about ready, though I'm a little skeptical he is a starting pitcher long term. He reminds me of Ki-hyeon Lim, with whom I know you're familiar. I might call him up and put him in the bullpen for 2012 and limit his exposure to left-handed batters.

                            Gabby is staying in AA.

                            I'm talking about TJ Davis.

Potter is likely a reliever but won't have a problem giving him a chance as a starter if he continues to improve.

Potter and Davis are coming up. Doesn't matter. Just need to figure out how.

                              Misread your post.

                              Davis looks good to go.

Steffen might be better served moving to the bullpen. He pitched much better in relief last year than he ever has in the bigs as a starter.
