4-3 vs Maine and Pawtucket???? Whaaaaat? I'll take a split with the two best teams in the league possibly. Oh wait, that Carolina team is filthy. Play 3 in their park at the end of the week, brutal stretch to start the year but we're treading water so far.

3 vs Hartford then 3 vs the champs. Hoping for 4-2 week but I'll take 3-3.

Swept Syracuse and then lost 2/3 to Denver

Surprisingly we're at .500 nearly 20 games into the season. Better than expected...now if I had some legitimate starters we'd be in much better shape.

Pawtucket 3-4. Tough 7 game road trip. Let 2 slip away at Pitt then lost an extra inning game against Hartford to end the week. We really haven't had a good week yet and quickly racked up a -3 PTY in just 20 games.

Good news (sort of) is pitching seems to be coming around which usually puts us in good shape, but the offense has been actually comical. 9 home runs this month worst in all the BLB.

Lineup wise, keep throwing shit in the wall until something sticks. We've dealt with these slow Aprils before.

7-12 yet somehow we are only 2 games out of first. The Porter looks terrible right now.

4-2 week gets us to 12-6. We've played well on the road so far and get a big 4 game set with WAS and then see Indy with our old friends.

Willie Fajardo and his sub 1.00 ERA in AAA is making it difficult to hold him down, but I plan to for now.

4-3 week and we move closer to Indy.

The usual suspects did well. At this point I feel it's just redundant to talk about the best hitter in the league (I've finally done it. Never called him that before. I let you guys name your players and let it be. No more). McPherson with 3 Homers over the week.

Travis Neal has been a huge pick up for us. He's a bargain this year but will probably not be one next year. All perspective. I'll celebrate his salary this year and remember it when he's probably getting shelled next year.

Bullpen is slowly patching itself back up into something.

I'm good here. Happy with how this team is playing.

Ewe, 1-6 against Toronto and LA. Knew that was coming, as we've been playing a bit over our heads the first couple sims. Two over .500 and still two up on Denver, for now.

2-4; 1-2 @ MOR, 1-2 @ SEA: Had the lead in five of the six games. The Bats are 4th in the IL in ERA (7th SP, 2nd RP) but the bigger surprise is how poorly they have hit. 9th in runs, 12th in hits, 10th in OPS.

Pizza Time! SP Dave "Pizza" Lippert threw his first (hopefully of many) gem of the season in 6-0 W @ Seattle: 9 IP, 3 H, 0 R, BB, 8 K. After getting roughed up on Opening Day, Lippert has been everything we could have hoped for.

Fresh off signing a four-year $31M extension, 3B Alex Otero is on pace for a career year. The 27-year-old is hitting .288 with an .840 OPS, well above his .270/.763 marks. My scout and OSA still show room to grow so hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

First positive winning week for the Snappers with projected starters in some positions hurt, maybe the game was trying to tell me something and I didnīt get it before, okey thanks! I got it!

In the minors 22 Years old RF Joey Eddy had an amazing week at the plate connecting 17 hits, 4 HR and 9 RBIs to grab the player of the week honors and is going to be promoted to AA :)
