I don't have access in game to verify but it seems like there is nothing left but dumb and lazy players.

                    That's different than the past.

There are work ethics guys left. Few. But they are there.

                      • If you were on List with 0 players I disabled it due to the clock error. If you fill it back up again just turn List back on.

                        • Still drafting...Just selected 3B Dave Hander out of UCLA. His intangibles are awful, OSA has him only 3-3-3-5-4 potential but my scout likes him. And he's a LH hitting 3B, so hopefully he can platoon down the road.

Really like Denver's 8.12. 2B Ali Harrison out of UCLA. Speed, defense and OSA has him 4-4-2-5-5. He's been near the top of my board the past few rounds. But I have enough 2B.

Hander was on my short list of best available remaining.

Yes, I think there is value in still drafting this late.

Harrison might just be a bum like everyone else, but I think in a league where players with 4 contact are just about to be the norm, it's worth finding guys that have 2-3 skills. Harrison should be good enough to draw walks and avoid strikeouts. If 4 is normal contact in a few seasons then I've suddenly got myself a good hitting defensive 2B.

                              • The biggest project of my group is LF Jimmy Hoff.

Every other player I've taken has a few good qualities that I think will lead to success (of course realizing that some are fool's gold). I'm being optimistic in a draft where the players come out weaker and need to develop.

Jimmy Hoff looks like a mess according to OSA. But my scout absolutely loves him. I don't see it. He couldn't hit in high school. Could barely get off the bench for his team. Very low work ethic, no leadership skills. Can't field. Just a smart guy that wants to win.

But I figured what the heck! If my scout loves him this much, let's put those development dollars and my coaches to work and see if Sanchez sees something big here.
