Voodoo eviscerated Toronto and won Player of the Week.

Tyler Garner is day-to-day with wrist soreness. We're placing him on the disabled list to let him recover fully. Prospects Pat Guay and Dave Toste were passed over for the couple starts in favor of Rogelio Morales, who made six starts for the Bats last season.

No disagreement from me and I'm usually optimistic. Hope it's just a down year so next season when we have multi 1sts it recovers again. This is 1st time I've totally disagreed with my scouts top 5. We have Balt 1st pick and no 2nd so the hope will be to find someone serviceable?

Pawtucket 3-4. We came out slow last season also. Can't imagine our starting rotation staying 10th this season. Least we hit the ball well?

When Z is quick on the post it means Maine had a REALLY good week. (Can tell I've played against Z for a longtime). In his defense he does use spoilers during the playoffs.

My theory is that last year was the first year juniors were eligible. So we basically had two classes to pick from. All the would be best seniors for 2012 went last year.

4-2 week, we take 2 out of 3 from DAV and 2 out of 3 from LAA

Injuries are going to kill us this year because I made trades. It always seems to happen. Down goes Travis Anthony to join Godinez and down goes Dave Sherrod.

The OF is a bit thin now, but I'll hold off bringing up defensive specialist and speed demon Tommy Brings and opt for SS Zack Mayne making his debut at the BLB level. Javier Villareal will go from platooning with Sherrod to fulltime starter after a strong first week where he hit .381.

Masa Nara will replace Anthony in RF full time and Garza will get every at bat in LF. Gutierrez will stay in CF and we'll hope we don't need a back-up CF this week that can play defense. Dave Bryan will move into the 4th OF role, as we go 4 man OF only this week, with Tom Cole if needed in a pinch. Gutierrez was excellent in week 1, so we'll hope he's all we think he is as we deal with the injuries.

The injuries do help our pitching, we sent down Sid Bourne because we didn't want to waive anyone. He went 2-0 with a 1.20 ERA. So he'll come back into the rotation for Burns and Burns will head to the bullpen. Tom Bell gets one more start to fix himself in the rotation, then we go 5 man and he goes back to Set-up/Closer role he excels in.

Willi Fajardo looked beastly in his AAA debut: 2-0 14.6 IP 1.26 ERA 0.84 WHIP and 19:4 K:BB ratio. He's going to be a stud and may be up by the AS break.

Isn't it normal to not use spoiler tags on regular season sims? I didn't think I was alone there.

There is a long list of players on the waiver wire...take notice teams still looking to acquire players for the season...

Bats go 3-3. Already 0-2 in extras and 0-2 in one-run games. Great.

Nope. I rarely use them in regular season unless it's a critical series.


See now UMD uses spoilers a lot unless he's just disgusted with his team.
