Saw it now and forget. Geez that's tedious. Can you just adjust the contract?

With the way FA has changed in 15 (example if you decline an option player won't sign with you again) are we sure the signing logic is still affected by options?

Saw the penalty is turn the option year into a guaranteed year, which is fine by me.

I do think we should check OOTP updates in case some of our house rules are fixed in-game.

If you offer a free agent a team option, you also need to add in a buy out clause.

                    Study and know them well.

This thread refers to this...which is still an issue in '15...I checked the OOTP boards. Most leagues have some sort of FA rule because the game can be exploited.

1.) If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.

2.) Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.

Shouldn't he just be on your 60 day DL?

That's my confusion. I put him back once, how does he end back up in the FA pool? Is he a minor league FA that isn't being resigned or a game glitch?

This on is a glitch probably cuz he "quit" baseball.

He wasn't a 18 or 19 year old draftee who at 23-24 needs to be signed to a minor league extension which somehow people forget you need to do.

                              Summary: a glitch,
