2011 PLAYOFFS Brewmasters SIM 1 Complete - Next SIM TBD
Up three games to two with Game Six coming up at Old Port Park in Maine.
We smashed William Eddy in game one, chasing him in the second inning. Voodoo Davila hit two bombs while driving in six runs in Carolina.
We dropped game two on the road, as Manny Mireles's three run homer in the fifth inning gave the Tobs control on their way to victory.
Then the series shifted to Maine. Robby Aten threw seven and two-thirds shutout innings, followed by Salazar's scoreless save. Tristan Romarigues hit his second and third home runs of the Brewmaster's, as well as a double.
Game Four went to Carolina. Fernando Hernandez didn't make it out of the first inning at home. Strong performance from top to bottom for the Carolina bats.
But then Maine stole Game Five in Carolina. Voodoo Davila and Steve Suarez hit solo home runs. Neubauer threw eight strong innings and Salazar closed the door again.
Game Six coming up in Maine. Ignacio Alvarez on the hill, with Robby Aten lined up to throw Game Seven in Carolina if necessary.
How do you watch games on replay without spoiling things?
I've been in this league for almost ten fucking years and I still don't know.
Educate me!
It's not easy but here is how I do it.
1. Make sure before you download the sim you have "HIDE SCORES" checked on the BLB Scores Page. Then download league file. Then with either a piece of paper/magazine, or by squinting your eyes, go to the BLB Scores Page and without looking at the top of the game where it says "Today" or the actual game/schedule, click on the date back one week.
Then from there, if you did it this week, would be at Game One, with no results showing. Then you just click watch replay.

Gotcha. Hiding the top right is the part that made me think I couldn't really do it. Seems like a pain to hide it while looking at all the replays.
Except for the part where you had Los Angeles beating Pawtucket in the Divisional Round and then presumably dying in a team plane crash, resulting in Pawtucket replacing them in the DLCS and subsequently losing to Maine.

I think you misfired on that part.
I dislike them both.

Been doing this for years. My wife always looks at me and is like 'what the hell are you doing?'. They never understand.
