Not even close. Pats an original owner. He's just on vacation. :)

He's not an original owner, actually. #LongLiveSquint #YankeesForever

          Wow. Didn't know that.

I came on when Batavia started. Their owner left them mid season I believe.

A few interesting forgotten tidbits about BLB GMs and franchises.

            1. Riverman wasn't the original Davenport GM.

            2. The Los Lunas/Toronto franchise has had the most GMs of any organization.

            3. Maine spent the most time under Expos-style league stewardship of any franchise.

            4. California has had three GMs, while the other Porter Division teams have had no more than two each. The eight different Porter GMs is the fewest of any division by far.

I'm a history buff so your posts about the league's past are pretty fascinating. Do we have an BLB almanac of some kind?

                  I'm working on one.

                  Four more bits of trivia.

                  1. The 1984 season took three months and 13 days to complete, the longest of any season, due to an OOTP problem in which we were losing league history. We waited for OOTP creator Markus himself to fix the problem.

                  2. Jistic is the only general manager to run the same franchise continuously since 1978.

                  3. The Washington Bats were originally called the Washington Yankees.

                  4. robster1225 and Sully are the only GMs to have multiple stints with the same organization.

The first expansion teams, Mississippi/New York and Indianapolis, have had a total of three general managers in 30 years.

That's not three apiece — it's three total.

The second group of expansion teams, Morgantown and Batavia, have had two general managers apiece in 28 years.

We've done really, really well with owner loyalty among expansion franchises.

Expand yourselves then!! Everybody that knows me. Know how loyal I am! I am running the Sharks in the OSFL for 13 seasons! I was running the Buckeyes in the extinct NCFA for several years too. And also I play in the CFL, WWCF and GDCFL for several seasons! Come on guys! Start a formal expansion vote! And give Shark a team!

Actually, I was mistaken — I just double-checked my notes.

Indianapolis and New York still have their original general managers.

Morgantown and Batavia have had two general managers each.

Best record in a few seasons. Had hoped to finish .500 , fell apart last 2 weeks. Still we had the best home winning pct in the Stout. Things may continue to look up with all of our young arms

Some reason thought Matt was the original owner. Pitt....lost GMs? I'd bet the Ale itself has the most turnover. Me, you and UMD showed up within 2 years of each other, then Andrew quit like 2 years after so within 4 years by itself we did a complete turnover.
