Carlos, Hightower isn't getting to 300 K's. I lied to you and I'm sorry.

Young Tony Falfan of CAR breaks the single season 3B record with a new mark of 18 (previously 17 by Pat Forester, the suspect Jerry Daly and DOH). Oh, and those 18 triples go along with 26 doubles and 20 HRs. The guys an extra base machine! And he's 23. Not bad for a 5th rounder.

You don't think he can strike out 19 at home against Hartford?

Just think how gaudy the numbers would be if he had a decent eye.

Tobs will not start any of their regular SPs this week. They get the week off. So if you are playing me, you will probably score some runs.

                Adamson
                Nakasone
                Dwyer
                Serrano
                Kosier
                Kamiya

There is your rotation this week. Neither team has anything to play for, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

Sounds like Pawtuckeys year long strategy a few years back.

I have honestly tried to shade my lineup to the tank side down the stretch to see what I have and we've been winning. I can't imagine how bad that roster was to finish so low for a couple years.

It was all AAA players. Lineups all whacked out. A travesty really.

It was built using the "Theo" model. Which apparently is having some success at the moment.

I couldnt afford anyone. We were broke. All homegrown, be it AAAA types. Thats what happens when you trade away draft picks & prospects to "win it all" and fail. If the player performs, trade them for value. We got really good value for some of our players.

Wanna try something new for Pawtucket 4.0 years from now. Running the team the same way every era would be boring.

Eh. Only cuz I made my intention clear to the world. Again, like the Cubs. This really was built on that format. Theo told everyone what the plan was. I simply followed it. Why keep players cuz "they are nice"? If you get value, dam well better secure the future.

Now if we can get the Bulls to follow this freaken plan!!!!

I'll keep the next version a secret.
