    You crushed that one, BradZ.

    Frankly, I'm jealous.

I made a bold move to acquire Fujii. Though I can't fault my reasoning given the information available to me at the time, it turns out I would have been better served waiting as you did.

I've always loved Gibson and it frustrates me that I didn't make an offer. I had the money and just didn't pull the trigger. Great pickup.

I made a move for him but didn't want to risk the longer contract so I gambled on Jones. Good move sir.

Well, you did have 20 OFers already on your roster.

Ouch! The reliever gives up a bases loaded walk before the pop up.

Screw it man...give the guy a chance and take a loss if he blows it. Not like you're fighting for a playoff spot.

Yeah I was shocked to see him not signed, but we had to devote our money to middle IF (SS Jonathan Herrera, former Philly) Only OPSing in the .700's, but we were weak in the middle.

Gibson does seem like a natural fit to your team.

Now Los Alamos gets into the action by hitting Santana. Out for 4 days.

Which is what stopped me but I won't ever let something like that stop me again from getting a worthy bat. There's always a place or a need. Always a trade to be made.

Man squid trying to give his players credit they don't deserve? Did Murillo hit 3 home runs in a game too?

Granted, Mejia did accomplish something even better. 18 strikeouts is the most in a single game by a pitcher in the BLB. So there's that.

Not much to get excited about in Morgantown.
However, Feliciano hit his 40th this week giving him his 5th forty-homerun season of his career.
He also has 124 RBI's, which is a single-season career high for him.
Big man continues to be the only reason fans attend Mohawks games.

One other positive note is that prospect Taylor Thomas, recently called up from AAA, has 3 dingers in only his first 10 games.

I know this is selfish, but I'm considering sitting him the rest of September just to keep his rookie eligibility intact for the 2012 season.

If the playoff teams are set tomorrow we might do an expedited SIM 26.

                                Late night thoughts.
