Mongo Brooks is quickly becoming our staff ace. He hasnt allowed a run in 3 straight starts. 22 Ks to just 2 BB over the course of 23 innings.

Roberto Ortega has been nothing but amazing filling in for Arce. Travis Neal has been steady all season. CJ Skinner brings consistency to the top of the rotation each year. Tough decisions to be made. David Arce is 2.5 weeks away from coming back.

Oh, and The General eclipsed 40 HR for the 3rd consecutive year.

Grateful for a 5-2 week in the Ale.

Five and a half games behind Pawtucket in the division with six head-to-head games remaining.

        Rosters expand. Let's do this.

So I guess Denver wants to be in the playoffs. Likely an early bounce but at least we will inch closer to funclown's self described playoff run motifier.

            1-5

Just an overall unlucky disappointing year.

              And that 1 W was a ridiculous 4 run 9th against our closer that included 2 HBP's, a single and a 3R HR.

We threw 2 complete games this week . . .the only 2 we've thrown all year.

Man, Gaxiola has 4 or 5 I believe. More than he's thrown his short career.

Might as well go 0-6 since it doesn't matter.

I was actually a bit surprised he hit the ground running like that since Talley came in 2010 and looked clueless. Strange game.

Pawtucket 4-3. Split at Pitt where we always play iffy and so far 2 out of 3 against Hartford.

Bad new , Lynn gets bounced in the Futures League championship. Might be a blessing disguise since we really can use Pat Howell, Eli Ruiz, Tom Farris and company for this week. Pat Powell will take over 1st base duties from Tom Smith who's been struggling of late. Our offense needs a boost. He ends his prospect days ranked #9.

Still have a lot of work to do, but if the seeds hold like our chances of making a deep run.

Would like to see Herberholtz get another win or two and as many K's as possible this last month so that he can get the strikeout record next year and 200 wins, because I think that's gonna be it. I'm also worried about him falling apart in the off season. He still pitches some surprisingly good games, but the old man is fading.

4-2 series wins against WA and DVS back to back. A first probably more important back to back winning months. Going for 3 in a row! My young pitching is looking up in the BLB and minors.

Also Rosales having been shunned on the top player list has been there now a few sims in a row. Gratz Cracker!
