Obviously I can't complain since Baltimore needs a 2nd team plane just for injuries...but Willie Garcia has been hurt now 3 times in 2 months. He was listed as Durable. I guess that doesn't matter anymore.

Also being swept by Syracuse sucks. At least we turned around and swept Denver.

We might not even make the playoffs at this rate. Oh well. Back to square one.

At least we got a nice little run out of this and we can regroup from a strong position than one at the bottom.

Went to cut someone and got the option to pay the contract all at once or over the life of the contract/extension.

          Interesting.

And not even a news story? You think that would make it. I'm sure 3500 will though.

Dude this is insane. It is like injuries are contagious for us this year.

Daniel Flores (SP) has been the most dominant pitcher that we've ever had come straight out of the draft. 4-0, 2.16 in 5 starts in Orlando (A), so I promote him.

3-1, 1.77 ERA in 5 starts in Camden (AA). I'm not going to promote him again this year, but I'm very impressed with his professional performance so far. His numbers look nearly identical (and awesome) at both levels. My heart says he's ready at least for AAA, but I'll give him next year to show me he can do it for at least another 1/2 season in Camden first.

Interesting that he's not a top prospect.

Top 100 is dumb. I've got a guy dealing in AAA that doesn't get a sniff.

2 playoff appearances is not considered a run.

Pawtucket 4-2. We did ok I guess.

CF Sonny Mason back which also means LF Eli Ruiz or LF Ron Haward need to be sent down. Tough call. Might stick with an extra righty based and the coming matchups.

AAA watch: Barring an epic collapse it appears Lynn will get a chance to defend its title. Really need some of these players for our 40 expansion September run. They came up huge last season for us.

Financials: Looks as if we be able to expand another 1000 seats for a second in as many years. This will complete our whopping 22 million renovation project that started at the end of 2009 season. What is the max capacity our stadiums are allowed in this league?
